Hi. I’m Lori Noble, instrctor, artist and pattern designer.
I have been an artist since I held my first crayon. Who else am I?
a sewist, quilter, crafter and maker.
a teacher of creative projects using fibers and fabric.
a creator of whimsical accessories.
a sewing pattern designer
a surface pattern designer.
My first sewing project started with a Singer Sew Handy Sewing machine and grew from there. I have designed and sewn everything from couture garments to tote bags and just about everything in between. I pursued how to, then went on to create my own patterns for fabricating garments, home dec items as well as whimsically themed accessory items.
I grew up in the Chicago area but traded my snow shovel and parka for sunscreen and shorts, as I now reside in Phoenix, AZ.
I started art at the university level, changed course, and careered in business with art on the side. I have now come full circle and I’m BACK!
I left corporate business to re-career. This new path has been a rigorous course of study as well as hard work, but it is allowing me to live my passion by creating. Not only do I create original artistic designs for products, but I am also using my abilities to transform spaces into welcoming and inviting social and living environments.
My work is filled with colorful interpretations while expressing a whimsical flair.
Take a look. You may find something that catches your eye for use in a current or future project.
